Subject: [CR]Raleigh Supercourse Mk II

I just received a Raleigh Super Course Mk II bike, complete in brown metallic paint and gold bands. The bike came outfitted with almost all original parts such as the aluminium Huret Challenger shift set. It also has a Raleigh marked kickstand, a Raleigh marked rearwheel lock and a Raleigh marked generator, as well as Bluemels fenders, a rear rack and an upright Guidons Phillipe town bar and stem. Shifters are stem mounted, Maillard hubs are marked 1979. I could not localise this particular model in one of the catalogues availabel on the net, but I suspect it should be made around 1979 or so. Does anybody know whether the Supercourse Mk II was available in this outfit, or did the original owner buy all the Raleigh parts additionally when he got the bike?

Regards

Michael
