A huge thanks to MJ and Wayne for all their hard work which culminated yesterday afternoon. I thought the weekend went extremely well largely due to the support team and last minute volunteers that Wayne and MJ put together.

This was a year of change and it was refreshing. Same but different. It was good to see many first timers and significant others of some of the long time attendees.

The Battleground Inn was fun but it was nice to be able to do everything within the confines of the Best Western Hotel. The hotel staff was cool and they tolerated the late nights and bikes that seemed to be everywhere. Some of the guys even left their bikes in the lobby overnight and they were right there the next morning. I did miss Dale's bike shop though. The rides were fun, something different. Thanks to Peter K and his bike shop on wheels. Cirque 08 was taking turns riding Weigle's Motobecane in the parking lot, getting to bed at 3AM on Saturday morning.

This year's version of the Maasi was a Schwinn Para-Mount made up with hand lettering to look like the Rene Herse.

Kudos to Harvey Sachs for winning the strangest bike award however I thought that Colnago with the green Ostrich leather skin suit was tres kewl.

The hot weather was a bear and made Sunday a bit difficult. Hopefully next year will be cooler.

I will get my pictures up as soon as I can. Til then, see youse!
