Puts me in mind of my 1st cycle tour, solo camping, Portland, OR. to NY, NY., ridden on a Guerciotti frameset bought from Paolo himself at his shop in Milan the previous summer of '72. Imagine riding coast-to-coast w 30# of gear on an Italian racing bike....! With a Campy NR rear derailleur handling a 13-24 5-speed f/w. How crazy is that? Differant strokes, etc. But 5 weeks of bliss, I can assure you.
