Of the Cirque events that I have attended this one will stand out for sever al reasons. First and foremost I got to see many of my Friends that wished me well, gave me strength, hope and encouragement through the battle that I faced this past winter. Giving Harvey Sachs, my C Buddy, a big hug and see ing that he is doing well. Meeting and riding with many of the Philly boys and girl was very up lifting. They bring a renewed passion to the sport and hope to carry the torch in the future of vintage bike collecting and ridin g. A special thanks to Issac and Matt for waiting for me at the top of the hills on Saturdays ride. You guys rock! It is always a pleasure to see and hang with Tom Sanders, Nick Z, Bob H, Lou D, Karen R, Johnny P, Charlie Y a nd family and many more of the folks. Over the years I have spent many a hour riding with a real special friend, Peter Weigle, and this year was no exception. It is so much fun to ride with and chat with Peter on a ride. You do miss some of the scenery though, but so what.It is far better to connect with friends. To see Dale enjoy the event from the other side, Great! Getting to talk with Eddie Albert and sharing some thoughts. And las tly to see Wayne and MJ take the torch and carry it high and proud. They di d an outstanding job! Many mentioned the heat, it was much hotter than what I am used to, but really, it wasn't all that bad.
