Subject: [CR]Front Fork End Spacing ...

... we have always wondered about this one. i have several "somewhat senior" bicycles on this issue. i hope i can describe it properly. looking from the front to rear:

... an older schwinn has the fork ends brazed on the inside cut of the fork blade.

most others have the cut dead center on the fork.

and i could swear we got something around here with the cut on the outside edge, maybe something french or italian.

if this is a non-issue, sorry to bother. i like the early paramounts with it inside, so the outre nut gets "tucked" in a bit.
