Howdy folks.
I have one of these and am curious about its age and what French components would be most appropriate. Norris Lockley helped me ID it and said it would most likely have been black with red head tube and seat tube panel if it was from the 60s. Mine is indeed those colors, and I'm wondering if there's any way to narrow down the age. I have been planning on Stronglight 93s, Mafac Racers/Competitions/2000s, Simplex Super LJ and retrofriction shifters, Normandy Luxe Competitions and Mavic tubular rims, but I suspect this stuff is all quite a bit newer than the frame and fork. Any thoughts on the age and most appropriate components would be appreciated.
