Gave it a gander this morning and came to the conclusion that this bike is not an Iver Johnson, the rear may be from an Iver, by that I mean the seat stay, chain stay, rear dropout, and perhaps the seat tube for the serial number but not the rest. The serial number should put this bike in the late 1920s time frame. It was not doctored by the owner but doctored it was.

I'm not sure a completely period-incorrect looking refinish/build qualifies as "mint" (check out the wheels, stem and headset) but the price probably isn't too far out of bounds if it is what it purports to be.
