This bike was manufactured and produced in 1981/82. It originally came with ARX derailleurs and gold anodized rims. The original tire size was 700 x 20 so you know Fuji was marketing this bike as a low cost club racer. Originally it had a chocolate brown vinyl covered seat and a suntour perfect freewheel 14-24 six cog. It sold for $450 and I bought one from the Marina shop in San Francisco. It had nicer more relaxed geometry than many all out racers and was more stable and comfortable than many of the bikes from the 80's. The bike weighed a bit over 21 lbs or near 22 if I remember. I miss mine. It was rather stunning all color coordinated and gold vinyl bar tape. I also remember fondly the old Specialized touring two tires in a 23 width ... dependable and light.
