DiaCompe, AFAIK, made all the classic era SunTour brakes.  Some Mavic bra kes, including the ones with concealed springs, were made by DiaCompe, whil e other Mavic brakes were made by Modolo.  So I'm pretty sure the conceal ed spring models sold as DiaCompe, SunTour and Mavic differed only in cosme tic details.

If these were Dia-Compe-- and were other beautiful calipers (and levers) with the Mavic label by Modolo of Italy?-- then are they a variant of or the same as the most treasured Suntour Suberbe Pro, with concealed springs?
