Hi Crew, Regarding the Nervex lugged Pista....lets see more proof. What I see are replacement decals that were meant for early 70s Colnagos ......except the design is incorrect as a reasonable copy would have the downtube decals at least 30mm smaller in length and the seat tube laurel would not be outlined in black. If it were a late 60s no Colnago club would be evident within the decal layout as this was a 1970 onwards feature. Plus the font is wrong. You can see correct early 1970s decals on Ray Dobbin's 1972 Colnago on his site. I see an incorrect stem and bars (road) and absolutely no tell tale sign of Colnago's handiwork in frame construction. BB threading? Twin plate crown? This frame has more in common with a Malvern Star from Melbourne than a Colnago from Cambiago. So, what the provenance has been based upon is the word of a mechanic 40 years past the build date on a frame that has not one single aspect of an Italian build using British 'to the bootstraps' frame components and replacement decals from the wrong decade ....would really make me wonder. The seller does have a good reputation which has more substance than the features of the bike and this will probably be what will decide
the final price.
