A good friend in Germany called Rudi Altig yesterday to ask him about this bike. Altig denied any connection between his brother (or himself) and this bike. This confirms the suspicions of Brian and many others regarding this bike, based on its build alone. It also confirms the dangers of collecting vintage racing bikes with championship attributions.
