I personally love the book; it is more a design statement than a historical review. I guess you have to give yourself over to that to enjoy it-- the chapter on Delta brakes, for example, was a wonderful review of the different elements of that design, as is the chapter on C-Record rear derailleurs. I imagine if you're looking for a record of Campagnolo's contribution to cycling history in some historical conext it will be disappointing. Alan Bernstein, summer lingering in NYC
