my waterford built w 853 and campy record weighed 18.5 lbs complete without the two water bottle cages i later added. by the way this bike is currently still being produced as well as a 953 model, stainless steel, which is probably even lighter. burl simon keeping the record straight in los angeles, california, usa on 10.21.8
