I ride nothing, but Brooks B17 saddles in steel. I feel that the new
ones are not as enduring as the ones from the 70s. One in particular
which was one of the 1st speciels that Grant sells, looks like it's 10
yrs older then what it really is. They were really comfy from about 100
miles on, but, I doubt it will last like the old crooked rail ones that
Raleigh used to put on bikes. But, they are very eyecatching with the
big rivets. One man's opinion.
