Sorry to say not everything has been covered as people forgot the Guinea - 21 Shillings as far as I know, and I was informed it was used

for transactions among the higher ranks of society, like paying your physician in Harley Street.

On the topic of money: Who else but me thinks that the Pashley Guv´nor

bike is priced quite a few guineas too highly for what it offers? For that sort of money you could easily get an original three speed minus mudguards/fenders from the thirties, or two, or three. And stating the

thing is based on path racer design is, well, stretching things, isn´t

it?
