I put it just above the brake, pointing down, on the outside sid e of the brake. I can hit if from above when riding on top which the index finger, or, if I happened to collapse on the bike and am able to grab the drops on the way down, then I can shift there with a quick flick of the finger. Also, when I break to a stop, it's right there to downshift.

Best of all, the cool logo shows right side upish, as it is supposed to. The other ways I tried either the logo faced in or was flat out upside down. A no-go from the start.

Greetings restoring a 1948 Carlton that I got on ebay years ago.?This bike came with a Sturmey Archer 4 speed and drop bars.?Componants on the bike appear to be original.??Is there a Right, Prober or Perfered place to mount the Sturmey?triger on the drop bars??
