Hi ClassicRendezvous Guys & Gals, I am new here, and joined with the intent to find a good home for my MASI w ithout having to go to Ebay. It has hung unridden in my garage for 3 season s now, so time to seriously question why I am keeping it at all.
This is an early 80's Prestige size 53cm (C-T-T) It is in excellent conditi on. Original paint & decals. No rust and no dents... maybe a 15-20 tiny paint chips at the most on this lightly used frame (underside of down t ube, insides of chain & seat stays.)
Previous owner had the frame cold set and aligned for 130mm rear spacing. Frame has always been in a dry/desert climate (first in AZ and now in C O.)
Built with full Campy Record Titanium 9 speed group and a very special Am brosio wheelset made especially for Colnago, with machined braking surface and counterbalance. A pair of these rims alone - unbuilt - sold for about $ 250 on ebay recently. Campy Record 9/10 speed hubs in polished silver color .
This is the smoothest riding road race frame I ever owned. I chose to keep this bike and sell a Cinelli Corsa and 3 different Colnagos. It rides s o much nicer than any of those frames. I hope to get better pictures this weekend if I can get the bike down and o utside on a sunny DRY day. In the meantime here are a couple shots of it ha nging in my garage.
