Orlando ride report: Today, nine of us rode from listmember Ron Edmiston's house in Winter Haven. There were two Richard Sachs, a Bohemian, and a Redcay in the mix of modern bikes. We rode in 70 degree weather through the orange groves where the pickers were furiously picking oranges. We passed the goat farm where Ron says they usually say "baaaa", but when one of our riders passes, they say, "daaaaaddd". Trip took us up and down rare Florida hills to a Dutch bakery and back to Ron's house. At Ron's, we all visited the shrine and museum to all things Campagnolo and Richard Sachs. There are also some interesting Lemond items there. You could eat off Ron's garage floor, unlike mine. I'm always humbled when I see such cleanliness and order in a garage. Dan Siniff was visiting from Michigan and brought a 1960s Rochet to show. Lots of fun. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL USA
