Thanks for info, Chuck, but...

They did not allow to use QR in Keirin, it was my understanding their PISTA hub DID NOT come with Q/R levers, onlly solid shaft and NUTS, there was no need of "CURVED" lever through 60's.

Of course this was in Japan, not Europe or north American track racing, ther e might be super strong sprint PISTA rider might have used or trusted Q/R lever, and wanted curved for safety.
