Subject: [CR] Paramount Track bike ... but Australian !?! + WTB/WTT NOS Pista crank arms

Coolio's,

A collector local to me has a very nice fillet brazed Paramount track bike on ebay that ends soon. Swiss thread? European Paramount? Just wondering if it may be a local made marque or perhaps a US Paramount that found it's way to these shores. In any case it's a nice bike and whilst it's not impossible to send a whole bike overseas it is expensive and a lot of work, so I understand why the seller is offering it for Aussie's only.

Well worth checking out !!!!

The seller (Roger) is a good guy and has has asked to trade (or would like to buy) ...

> Other things I am after at the moment:
> Fiamme 36h rims, red label or Ergal. Excellent or NOS.
> 40h rear Campy Record track hub - High Flange
> 32h front pre-Record front hub - road - High Flange
> A set of 1980's track cranks - Suntour, Sugino, Dura Ace or Campy.
> Good condition
> Steel Cinelli track bars/stem
>
> I am currently buying a complete TI Raleigh track bike (red/black)
> in mint condition in my size (59cm) so I am selling off a few things
> to fund it.

Roger's email address is roger.rabbit1964@yahoo.com.au

Feel free to contact him if you have something to suit or trade. I know he doesn't want a 170mm left side strada arm ... the pista stamping is important to make his Raleigh perfect. I'm just a a hook up but am happy to help if something gets lost in translation.

I should advise that i'll be bidding on the bike. I'd be stupid not to :)
