I'm currently getting my late 60's, early 70's Viking tr
ack bike repainted and ready to build up. I plan on using the parts I had
on it: Campy nr 1" pitch drive train, nr track pedals, nr piste headset,
3t alloy or cinelli steel bar and stem, airlite hubs with fiamme yellow la
bel rims, brooks pro saddle w/campy nr seat post. Were vikings sold as co
mplete bikes or as frames to be built up by the buyer. What sort of parts w
ere they commonly set up with? Am I in the ballpark with the parts I'm usin
g? Opinions/advice welcome.
