Talk about a blast from the past! I rode with Dan in the early to mid 70s. We used to ride Wednesday evenings from Houston to Katy..me on a Raleigh Grand Prix and he on a nondescript Track bike. Weekends we would head to Brookshire where he showed me some of the best roads to travel ....which still are. I've known Joy for years. She employs some of the best mechanics in Houston...also the priciest. I use them nonetheless. I long for those simple rides and the friendly carmaraderie of a kindred spirit. Miss ya Dan...
