The "Masi" factory in Milan is still very much called "Masi", run by Fali ero's son Alberto, under the banks of the Vigorelli velodrome (19 via Aro na). However, frames for the North American market are badged either "Mi lano 3V" or "Alberto Masi" and are imported by Greg Honn in Connecticut. A lberto is unable to sell the frames under the Masi name in America due to t he fact that the licensing of the name was sold by his father. The name in America has changed hands a number of times following the closing of the C arlsbad operation. The current offerings from "Masi" that you see in Ameri ca are made in Taiwan by the same company that owns Haro bicycles. The ONL Y thing they happen to share with the Italian Masi operation is the four le tters on the downtube. Matthew BowneBrooklyn, New York
