Good day to all of you (again ...),

Another frame I'd like to offer to the list. This is a really beautiful Gazelle Champion Mondial AA-frame, from 1980. It was ridden by Bram Jouvenaar, at the time a well-known regional amateur. At that time I raced with him (against him?) and I remember that bike! If you google his name, you'll find that he's still racing (he must be about 58 now) and getting the same sort of results: usually in the top 10, never winning! The frame and chrome fork is in excellent condition, a few small nicks and some cable rub, thats about it. I will include the headset (a Campagnolo Athena, that was installed later), the Campagnolo gearlevers, a Turbo saddle in good/reasonable condition, a black alloy TA bottle cage and an Assos frame pump that fits the frame.

Dimensions are:

- seattube: 59 c-t - toptube: 55.5 c-c - wheelbase: 990 mm - chainstay: 410 mm - bb English threaded

The AA-frame was top of the line around 1980, only the 531 SL and the 753 were more expensive, but had basically the same lugs and details. Its a good thing this frame still has the butterfly brake bridge (but not the X-shaped chainstay reinforcement ...), so typical of the 70s Gazelle's.

Pictures are in my wooljersey album: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/Freeks-racefietsen/1980+Gazelle+Champion+Mondial+AA-frame/

I am asking 225 usd for frame and fork including the parts I mentioned. Shipping (Priority, insured, trackable and well-packed) is 95 usd. Payment only in my Paypal account please: faro@cistron.nl.

Thanks for looking!
