My understanding is main distinguishing feature of Mk V is oversized/overlapping seat-stay caps (pic att)...I think there is a proper tech term for this but I can't recall it. In person, they look stuck on and unfinished but Raleigh must've wanted it this way on their flagship.
Can anyone further provide examples or reasoning (other than style) of overlapping SS caps?
