Yes that one is there also, but I know the Japanese collectors will pay huge money for an NOS alloy mod 57. But the steel rail mod 88 at over $500 puzzles me. Someone did say the mod 88 had an alloy cantle plate, so maybe that's part of it. Whatever the attraction, looks like maybe two Japanese collectors are duking it out. 20 bids but only 5 bidders, and the high prices are from only 2 of them. One threw in a high bid of $559, and the other bid 4 times in quick succession until he finally bested it. Wish eBay would quit the disguising the bidders so we could see if two of our old friend are involved here. I'm tempted to see if I have a model 88 in my parts bin to put up on eBay.
