I have a set of those cranks, with a black "fill" in the fluted section of the arms. The letters DURA ACE are raised, and are not black. Pretty striking. I also believed (based on some research in catalogs, the bikelist archives, etc.) that the brake levers were never anodized black. But I recently bought a pair! In the "small world" category, my black first-gen DA stuff is going on a '70s Zunow frame I bought from ... Harvey Sachs!

Chris, if you're still looking for the levers send me a private email.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I have an Austro-Daimler Vent Noir with the first gen D/A gruppo, but it has silver crank arms. Didn't know they made black ones.
