I've NEVER ridden a PX-10 but can tell the difference between a french and english bike. Not sure if I could tell the difference between an english and Italian bike though...

Absolute and utter BS. Quite obviously you are totally and utterly ignorant of classic French bikes. Anyone with half a brain who ever rode a PX-10 knows better. If you don't, then listen to those who know, you might learn something.
