Hi Jerry, Many thanks for your feedback.

When I purchased the PX10 frame on Ebay, it had been stripped of its parts and these were sold separately. I am sure that this practice is leading to many bikes losing their original equipment, as breaking them up to sell their parts separately can be more profitable. Anyway, the seller confirmed that the bike was originally fitted Ideale 2001 saddle. I purchased the original derailleurs, headset and bottom bracket axle. But the other parts went elsewhere.

The second PX10, which I purchased in France (presumably it was therefore built to French specifications), originally had an Ideale 90. This second PX10 dates to a little time after the PX10 in the photo (not sure how long after). At the time, I was an avid Brooks fan so, the original saddle was replaced, but I have another Ideale 90 to go with it now.

At the end of the day, I think the Ideale 90 seems to suit the bike better than the Ideale 2001, so I was happy to forego originality.

All the best,
Peter Rogers
