I believe that I have been able to determine who the winner of the Dreher water bottle is.

Here is his ebay "Me" page: http://ebay.com/<blah>

He introduces himself with the following: "I only and exclusively purchase water bottles and musettes from the 1950/60/70's, of the Tour de France (sponsors musettes and water bottles). Available for trades and exchanges"

He has over 4000 bottles and has been collecting since 1972, so is well aware of what is what.

Here is his web page: http://www.monsieurbidon.net/

You can see some of his photos of the collection here: http://fotoalbum.bottlescollection.com/

How many of us have been invited by a cycling museum to display our collection? Take a look at the photos, I certainly was impressed by the span of the collection, as well as Monsieur Bidon's dedication and knowledge in the area.
