I DID look at the archives first...
1. Who was the last rider of steel (and his bike) to win the Tour? 2. When was the last wool maillot jaune handed out? 3. In the 50s and 60s, were most of the teams in the race not-very-competitive, as they are [not] today? Or were they more evenly matched "in the day?"
