Subject: [CR] FOR SALE '78(or so) Ladies Cinelli

Dear listmembers,

I have for sale a late 70's Cinelli road bike, the earlier style frame (curved as opposed to straight down tube) ladies frame with the pressed lugs with 3 holes, earlier graphics, and an aluminum head badge. The seat tube length is 49cm c-t, approx. TT length 54cm, 7cm Cinelli old logo stem on 67-39 old logo bars. Unicanitor smooth leather saddle. Campag. low flange 32 hole hubs, cross 3 lacing to Fiamme red label (tubular) rims. Tires fitted. Campag, components except for Universal #68 brakes (used because they can be use properly with a ladies style frame) but the brake levers are Campag. with original old logo hoods. 170mm cranks, 42-52 chainrings. Rear der. dated '76. Regina Oro 5 sp FW. Superlight pedals, no toeclips or straps on them.

Color is light pastel pink. Pink Benotto handlebar tape. This bike is basically NOS. This bike is still un-ridden and I'm looking for a good home for her, someone who will take it out in public and enjoy it. This would make a wonderful, ridable, great conversation piece in any vintage crowd. There is one tiny spot on one fork blade that I touched up; otherwise the paint, decals, and chrome are as new. This is the only early version Cinelli ladies bike I've ever seen. I've seen a fair number of the newer ones with the IC lugs, new graphics, and no headbadge. This has to be somewhat uncommon, and she's practically brand new. Please, someone find her a new home; maybe you can make some "brownie points" with the wife with it. Asking price is what I paid for it. $2,200.

Thanks for looking. Photos available to serious inquiries.
