I don't know specifically what the "G" stands for, but I have to assume it relates to the (aftermarket) manufacturer of the bolt, because...

Mel Pinto Imports literally had thousands of those in the warehouse, and they come in multiple lengths. Perhaps Wayne Bingham moved them to the new location when he took over MPI? If so, there is a sufficiently large cache to supply everyone on this list through several lifetimes.
