Wow, this list is incredible. Mike if you are responsible for Sonny's bicycle, you are a great artist. I find it so beautiful I've had a picture of it up on my desk at work all afternoon.

Hi Sonny My name is Mike Howard and I was the head frame builder for entire existence of Medici Bicycle Co. So I guess I am your expert. Rich is correct 55 is the size center to top and it was the 2,615th Pro Strada made. They were other models so it would not necessarily be the 2,615th Medici. I would put it in the mid 80' era. Fortunately we were better bike builders than business men and did not keep very good records. Back in the day we never realized the importance of serial numbers in fact a lot of Italian and other frames had none at all. The earlier frames were made from Columbus tubing but yours most likely is Tange Prestige which (even though I hate to admit it) does have much better numbers on tonsil strength and other technical issues. Ride wise I doubt that many could tell you the difference in a blind test. Let me know if there is anything else you would like to know.
