Often. But you would have had to be or are in the balloon tire end of our
hobby.
These and a few others have been used for many years to take dents out of
the old fenders going back to the 1920's or before.
Many oulde fenders have been brought back from oblivion and either kept as
is or then refinished to bring a nice old steed back to glory.
