Anyone know how Frejus is meant to be pronounced in Italian? I had assumed it was pronounced like the French town, freh-ZHEW, but having learnt that it isn't named after anything French at all and given that the "j" ( i lunga ) isn't actually even a letter in Italian, and further that the ultimate syllable in Italian is seldom stressed without an accented vowel it gets pretty hard to guess.
