Hi, I have changed my flickr id to DMarkStevens. My first name is Duncan but
I use Mark. Family traddition - or quirk. I have finished editing flickr
images on the Gillott Group. Anybody setting up an Osgear or a Cyclo Olympic
may find them useful.

Any comments or corrections gratefully recieved. I am beginning to see the
importance of this collection of photographs as a resource, not just for
anyone restoring a Gillott but other classic lightweights too. I am trying
to build up bikes with as big a range of derailleurs as possible. I have a
fair collection and find it a challenge to get different types working with
what I trust are compatible period components, especially matching control
levers to mechs as these often get separated. I also have a fascination for
unusual bits of ancillary equipment like Co2 inflators, flint catchers, bag
supports etc. If you look through the photos (over 1000 on flickr but not
all cycles) you will find these things fitted to bikes hopefully of the
correct period and reflecting the type of riding the bicycle was intended
for. I must admit here to a mild loathing for mudguards. It will look like
all my bikes are racers due to the lack of them but that is not the case.
Most of them would have had mudguards.
There are more to come, the Gillott Alpine Tourist de Luxe, a 1956
Gillott racing tricycle and an off topic Lo Pro by Mark Joynt.
