I had a Gitane with this design QR lever, and it was really bad in the back because of slipping. I remember some frustration with tightening it enough to keep if from slipping, vs. it being too tight to actuate. Current frames almost all have vertical drops, and the newer QR skewers are wimpier to match. Eric Keller Boalsburg, PA
