If you are building a modern, 10 speed, 130 rear, I would suggest using an American Classic 205 hub with 1.8-15 ga spokes. The flanges on this hub are very close together which will keep spoke tension between the two sides relatively even. The problem will be finding 36 hole hubs. They were made, but will probably be difficult to find.
