I owned a Blue 1983 Saronni very similar the one on E-bay. It also was Alle tubing, which was common to other Saronni models i've seen over the years. There is no reason to believe that Saronni frames were typically SL. Certainly the later models i've seen over the years were mostly the less expensive models. The Saronni model may have begun in the earlier days as commemorative model, but certainly in the 80's, there were many price point Alle tubed examples, with plain lugs, so-so workmanship.

The Saronni was a special model of Colnago, built in honor of Beppe Saronni winning the 1979 and 1983 Giro d' Italia races. It was a commemorative model, much like the Roger De Vlamaenk (RDV) Colnago bike of the period, which celebrated Roger's multiple wins of the Paris-Roubaix.
The Saronnis were typically made of Columbus SL. I have one and it is built with SL tubing. I don't know why the e-bay bike has an Aelle sticker. Either the sticker was replaced or later bikes were cheapened.
I think both the Saronni and the RDV were of a decent quality consistent with the contemporaneously built Supers. They were typically well-pantographed, and are, in fact, quite a bit more rare than the ubiquitous Supers.
