I sold the Austro Daimler version "back in the day" and always lusted after one! If it were me I would ride it occasionally for special events but put my real day to day miles on something not so collectable.

This bike is a Puch-badged-equivalent to the Austro Daimler Vent Noir circa 1976. Your bike appears to be equipped exactly as the Vent Noir, namely black Dura Ace group, black anodized drilled chain rings, black Shimano Crane rear derailleur, Fiamme gold anodized rims, and GiLux saddle. I would ride it. Use a different set of wheels and a different seat in order to preserve the originals, if you like.

I have not seen a Puch badged bike like this before and guess that it is pretty rare. Check your serial number against the list Dale has compiled on the CR site.
