Subject: [CR] Early Serotta

The recent discussion about the Murray Serottas with True Temper tubing finally forced me to post some photos of a frame I got off of ebay a while back. Anybody who has any information about this frame is welcome to fill me in with whatever knowledge you might have.

The seller claimed it was an Olympic team (1984 I assume) bike. It sports a USCF decal on the seat tube. Sponsor logos include True Temper, Suntour, and Selle San Marco. It is early Serotta, with straight chainstays. Measures as a 58 C-C seat tube. Brazing includes two water bottle mounts, top tube cable guides, a tab for a race number, shifter bosses on the down tube, and cable guides on top of the BB shell.

One interesting thing is the hand painted words "Ogre" and "Kielbasa" on the top tube and the initials "J.K" on the BB. Ring a bell with anyone?
