Hello, I have the same model of 'Aero' Colnago, which I spent a considerable amount of time investigating (with the kind aid of some list members). Perhaps I can share what I discovered about this bike. It seems it was designed for the Soviet and East German teams in 1979 for the Moscow Olympics. The, 'curvy narrow tubed' version was built after for the East Block and was only for professional use. The one I have was built for a member of Del Tongo Colnago in 1983. The straight top tube version seems to be more common - I have counted six since I began looking a year ago. Please note that I do not presume any expertise in Colnagology outwith this little adventure.
