Hi Dmitry, all. I thought you were looking for a cable hosing stop for a left side [front] mounted bar-end shifter, kind of an oddity. That's not what it is, I see now that part# 628 mounts on the bottom of the downtube near the bb shell to be used w/ a short stretch of housing to the early Record or GS front der. w/ an integrated housing stop. Presumably this is used w/ the left side shift lever shown in the pic. And presumably used w/ a rod type rear der., e.g. Paris-Roubaix. I apologise for my earlier incomprehension. It's just that you mostly see either double guides/stops or right side only. I don't suppose you'd want to use a generic double guide and grind off the rear cable guide on the right? Hi Billy, all,

Hm. I'm not sure. I looked it up again - here's the page I was referring to:

http://dima.softmaster.co.uk/test/cat14p16.jpg

Note that it shows a front der, plus - as I understand - 3 different options for controllling it (on my pic, just the first option is shown). The clamp on stop I'm looking for (628) is shown with the front of the (imaginary) bike to the right I think. I.e. the cable stop would be on the left side of the downtube. Also, I'm not sure what would be its purpose for the rear der?

Also, I looked up catalog 16 which I have a scan of in English. On page 31:

http://dima.softmaster.co.uk/test/cat16p31.jpg

part 628 is also listed, and is called "Front changer clip".

What am I missing?

Anyway... if anybody has one for sale please let me know.

Thanks.
