Hi David. Tubeless tires have been used on mountain bikes for a few years now and road versions may already exist. Similar to an auto tire w/ a sealed rim. The idea is to eliminate pinch flats. That's about as much as i know. I keep seeing references to "tubeless" tires on CL, ebay, etc.  Are these just uninformed references to tubulars?  Or is there a modern development that's passed me by?
