I recently acquired a Pascoe bike frame. It's an English made, 27 inch, tensile steel frame, probably from the 60s. I'd say it's on a par with the Raleigh bikes of the same era such as the Gran Sport and early Records.. It has nice lugwork with a light boss built into the fork. That said, it cleaned up pretty nice, I added period correct fenders, a handlebar mounted water bottle cage, a GB bar and stem, laced up a pair of alloy rims including a front wheel Sturmey Archer dynohub to power the SA light and turned it into a five speed with a Gian Roberts rear derailleur that I had laying around for about twenty years and added a vintage chainguard. Granted this was a bit much for a plain steel bike, but it looks nice and is a pleasant ride for what it is. Has anyone ever heard of Pascoe? I've heard that it was a British department store bike and was wondering if they made a high end model.
