The cut-outs in the lugs and bottom bracket shell of the Barale closely resemble those on my early 1980s Ciocc Mod San Cristobal.  However, there are differences - check out the close-up photos in the slide show of my Ciocc at http://www.flickr.com/photos/39288801@N02/show/with/3611732325/

I've never heard of a Barale before, but now I'm very curious!

Recently ended on French Ebay.  Looks like a Ciocc to me, but maybe  it's just because of the lug window and b.b. cut-out shape.  It does have  BARALE on the seat stay caps, in addition to the tops of the fork crown.   Anyone ever heard of this one before, and know if there is a  connection?  Just curious ... no interest otherwise.   Thanks...
