This has been talked to death on several occasions on this list, but here I go again. Re: "London streets are awash with silly trendy track cyclist wannabees/fashion victims, rising fixed wheel or single speed on butchered (often quite vintage) road frames."
Thank God they are! Would that all the cities in the world were awash with cyclists, and I'll be damned if I am going to tell everyone else what they must ride! Some are apparently more comfortable than I in that role.
