Subject: [CR] Weinmann Spear Point Stem and Other Spear Points -Questions

Ahoy ! A complex query this in the spirit of the Three Posts.

Recently, a Weinmann Spear Point stem came across the list. A surprise to me for I am only acquainted with Weimnann brakes. In the interest of knowledge, can anyone comment on Weinmann stems, in general ? What else did Weinmann make/badge other than brakes and stems ?

Generally speaking - Spear point and other "ornamented" alloy stems.  I am pondering the use of a spear point or some type of not Plain Jane stem (circa 1950's - 1970's) for a special bike. Who other than GB and, now I know, Weinmann offered spear point/ornamented stems ? Did GB offer more than one design of spear point? (other than allen bolt or exposed hex. bolt, that is).

And yes, of course, I am window shopping for a visually appealing stem - 70, 80 90 extension; 22.2 quill O.D. (I think "quill" is correct term for the portion into the steerer tube); clamp dia = I'm flexible because shims, like a mother's love, can forgive any deficiency.

Any enlightenment genuinely appreciated.

Thank you.
