Hi,

When you build up an old frame, or change BB or headset - do you usually re-face (and in the case of headset, perhaps re-ream) the tubes? Or are those procedures only needed for new frames? Please share your experiences.

Was the topic/focus:

A. Whether or not a vintage frame requires re-facing when a headset is changed. B. Whether or not frames in general need to be re-faced when changing a headset.

(Read the OP carefully...their wording...not mine.)

I think honestly this get backs to that specific rule for CR where folks are asked to consider their post carefully before submitting in order to start out and hopefully stay ON-TOPIC - otherwise consider other more general purpose cycling websites.
